BALENCIAGA VS VALENTINO

In the fight of the day, I present on the left the Balenciaga Ceinture Ankle Boots Black, and the right Valentino Ankle Strap Bootie.

I decided to confront them because to me, is an inspiration that develops with two very different views. Balenciaga presents a punk style that has been very successful in the spring, full of buckles and rudeness, and moreover Valentino proposes something much more soft and feminine. However, both use this tab exposed to show foot, and conclude on an adjustable strap, covering the instep and heel.

Personally I prefer the Valentino style, but it's always good to experiment and try something different to our style, we ended up surprising well.

En la riña del día, les presento del lado izquierdo los Ceinture Ankle Boots Black  de Balenciaga, y por el derecho los Ankle Strap Bootie de Valentino.

He decidido confrontarlos porque a mí parecer, es como una inspiración que se desarrolla con dos puntos de vista muy diferentes. Balenciaga nos presenta un estilo punk que ha tenido mucho éxito en la primavera, cargada de hebillas y rudeza; y por otra parte Valentino nos propone algo mucho más suave y femenino. Sin embargo los dos utilizan esta lengüeta expuesta que permite mostrar parte del pie, y concluyen en una correa ajustable, cubriendo el empeine y talón.

Personalmente me quedo con los de Valentino, pero siempre es bueno experimentar y probarnos algo diferente a nuestro estilo, igual nos terminamos sorprendiendo.

ARMANI ANKLE BOOTS

Today I bring these Armani Ankle Boots, feature a rounded tip which surely makes them more comfortable, and a heel 130mm / 5.1 "/ 13 cm high and 23mm / 0.8" / 2.3 cm platform. Materials are Lambskin and Calf-skin leather. On the back we have zip closure and ankle detail that reveals our foot.

What makes them so special? That in all the design, and especially at the tip, makes a delicate curved with playing with the textures of the materials, and the only protection in front, is the tongue.

I love them for this fall and for the typical scene walk in the park, while you step on dry leaves. How romantic!

El día de hoy les traigo estas Ankle Boots de Armani, que cuentan con una punta redonda lo que seguramente las hace más cómodas, y un tacón de 130mm / 5.1" / 13 cm de altura y como 23mm / .8" / 2.3 cm de plataforma. Sus materiales son  cuero y ternera. Por la parte de atrás tenemos cierre y detalle en el tobillo que deja ver nuestro pie. 

¿Qué los hace tan especiales? Que en todo el diseño, y sobre todo en la punta, hace un curveado delicado con el que juega con las texturas de los materiales, así como la única protección de enfrente, es la lengüeta.

A mí me encantan para este otoño y para la típica escena del paseo en el parque, mientras uno pisa las hojas secas. ¡Qué romántico!
